The Austrian Pavilion was jointly designed by Nikken Sekkei in partnership with the Bakan office in the country. The main feature of the pavilion is the plaza against the front. Exhibits are hands-on without captions. The backyard, which occupies a large percentage of the building, was also visited, with a VIP room displaying a model of the Austrian Pavilion from the 1970 World Expo and other materials.
